At Lagniappe Healthcare, we provide a 24/7 team of skilled nurses and dedicated professionals. Our Story
The facility originally operated as Summerlin Lane Nursing home for over 30 years until 2008 when local owners took over and renamed it to Lagniappe Healthcare. The new name better reflects the new mission and focuses on creating a home-like atmosphere for the residents and their families. The name “Lagniappe” by definition means, “a little bit extra,” which is exactly what we aim to offer our residents. Our highly skilled and dedicated staff of care providers have vast experience in providing long-term rehabilitative care.

The mission of Lagniappe Healthcare is to provide our community with a facility that maintains the highest level of resident care available. Each resident is treated with dignity and respect; encouraged and enabled to achieve the fullest use of their mental, physical, spiritual and social capacities. Admission is available to all adults regardless of race creed, color, sex, age, handicap or national origin. All residents are treated with the care that will ensure their personal dignity.
